Ed Rush
Ed Rush is the stage name of Ben Settle (born 1973, west London), a drum & bass producer/DJ who started as a b-boy before entering the rave scene. His 1993 track 'Bludclot Artattack' (with neighbour Nico Sykes) helped push hardcore's darkcore sound toward drum & bass; 1995's 'The Mutant' (with DJ Trace) and breakthrough single 'Guncheck' helped define techstep. Since 1997 his main partnership has been with Optical (Matt Quinn) — their album 'Wormhole' (1997) is considered a pivotal introduction of the neurofunk subgenre. Together they co-founded the label Virus Recordings. He is most associated with the aggressive techstep, darkcore and neurofunk styles.

Evil Eddie Richards
Eddie 'Evil' Richards, British acid house pioneer and the 'Godfather' of tech house; resident at Camden Palace (mid-80s) then legendary Clink Street parties (where he earned the 'Evil' nickname); had a 1988 chart hit 'Acid Man' and founded the UK's first DJ agency, Dy-Na-Mix, in 1990.
