DJ Akira : The hard-speedcore pioneer and head of Hong Kong Violence records, known for aggressive hardcore techno sets.
Al Storm
Al Storm (real name Alex Taylor, formerly performing as DJ Storm) is a UK happy hardcore/hardcore DJ and producer active for over 20 years. His mid-to-late-90s tracks such as 'Beating Of My Heart', 'Sweetheart' and 'Love Is The Only Way' were genre anthems. He co-owns several hardcore labels including Warped Science, Cloned Records, Draft & Method, Destructive Force, Underground Recordings, Raindance Records and Moondance, and runs the 24/7 Hardcore imprint (nearing 200 releases). He has also produced drum & bass (previously as Deadman, signed to Technique Recordings) and has remixed for Slipmatt, The Prodigy, Cascada, Force & Styles and Dizzee Rascal, with a global touring career spanning Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Russia and the US.
Alarm
Hardcore techno/speedcore DJ associated with the Species 'Disgustingly Hard' series, including the NYE 2001 pack, often playing alongside Rascal.
Alchemist
Known in the 90s happy hardcore scene for "Keep On Trying" (which featured iconic remixes by legendary rave DJs like Slipmatt and Brisk). Another notable mid-90s release was "Totally Confused" (1995) and "I Can See Clearly" (1996) on Burn Out Records

UK DJ/producer active since the 1980s across funk, electro, house, techno and breaks, with residencies including Reincarnation/Serious 691 (Herne Bay) and Eurobeat 2000 (London), plus radio appearances on Kiss FM London and Dream FM.
Alex Kid
Alex Kidd (real name Alex Laddin) is a highly influential UK hard dance, hardstyle, and hardcore DJ and producer based out of Manchester. Often referred to as "The Kidd," he has been a prominent fixture in the global harder electronic music scene for over 15 years
Altern 8
Altern 8 are Mark Archer and Chris Peat from Stafford, one of the defining acts of the 1991-92 UK rave explosion. Signed to Network Records, they scored top-ten hits with 'Activ 8 (Come With Me)', followed by 'Evapor 8' and 'Hypnotic St-8', and were instantly recognisable in their chemical suits and face masks. Mark Archer, who had previously recorded as Nexus 21, still performs Altern 8 sets at old skool events such as Flashback, Slammin Vinyl and Raindance.
